More Information

From the filmmaker, Phil Cathoir:

The story of a soon to be father and how and his preparations for fatherhood are disrupted. This is my thesis film for school. It was shot on 16mm film stock with sync sound. It is a student film with all student crew and actors on a volunteer basis. All crew and actors were paid with food and copies of the film. They did a great job and I can get contact information for all of them if you wish to contact them. This project received an A. Music including music box music was written and performed by Robert Dalin, contact information for him can also be provided. This film was shot over 4 weekends, usually one day over the weekend. After food, film, processing, transfers, gas/transportation, and all other costs the film came in at just under $3000. It is an original script written by me. I also directed, produced, and did the cinematography with Andrew Jackson for this film. I could not have done it without the help of friends, family, and my amazing cast & crew. I thank you all. I would especially like to thank Carl Woloszyn, Andrew Jackson, and Logan Akers. Total project time from the first day of shooting to finished project 6 weeks. I would also like to thank the faculty and staff at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale for all their help.
